N.A.M.I. (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) is a grassroots self-help, support, advocacy, research, and educational organization for family and friends with serious mental illnesses. Our mission is to eradicate mental illness and to improve the quality of life for those who suffer from no fault brain diseases.

$15.00 Consumers (individuals with a mental illness)
$20.00 Individual Membership and Mental Health Professionals
(person who is a relative or friend of a person with mental illness)
$25.00 Family Membership
$50.00 Supporting Membership
$100.00 Business/Corporate Membership
Membership dues are paid annually and are due and payable at the beginning of each calendar year. The annual membership fees are divided as follows:

$3.00 to NAMI Ohio for membership in the state organization; | |

$7.00 to NAMI for membership in the national organization; and | |
|
the remaining is retained by NAMI Clermont County. |
Simply write your name, street address, city, state, zip code and phone number on a piece of paper. If you are a family member, state your relationship to the person(s) with the mental illness, and if you are requesting a family membership, please state the names of the other family members.

The NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program is a 12-week course for families of individuals with severe brain disorders (mental illnesses). The course is taught by trained family members. All course materials are furnished at no cost to you.
The curriculum focuses on schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (manic depression), clinical depression, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The course discusses the clinical treatment of these illnesses and teaches the knowledge and skills that family members need to cope more effectively.
